Die moderne Eishalle ist im Jahr 2000 fertig gestellt worden und genügt den internationalen Maßstäben (60 x 30 Meter). Weiterhin bietet sie modernste Eis- und Hallentechnik, und hat insgesamt 504 Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Die Eishalle ist sehr bequem mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen: Einfach bis zur Kölnarena fahren und den Rest zu Fuß gehen. Die Gummersbacher Straße geht direkt hinter der Kölnarena ab.

Die Haltestellen Bahnhof Deutz -Messe, Köln-Deutz, Deutz-Kalker Bad werden von den Straßenbahn-Linien 1, 3, 4 und 9 und den Buslinien 150, 151, 153, 170, 250 und 260 angefahren und befinden sich direkt an der Kölnarena I.

Die Kölnarena I ist die größte Veranstaltungshalle in Köln und leicht am beleuchteten großen Bogen erkennbar. Die Kölnarena II liegt direkt dahinter und ist in der Gummersbacher Straße. Sie dient als Trainingshalle des Kölner Eishockey Clubs KEC.

Durch die zentrale Lage im rechtsrheinischen Stadtteil Deutz ist die Kölnarena II einfach zu erreichen, indem man den Hinweisschildern „Kölnarena“ und „Köln-Messe“ folgt. Die Kölnarena I + II befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Deutzer Bahnhofs. Ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten direkt an der Kölnarena II sind ausgeschildert.

Aus Richtung Düsseldorf, Oberhausen, Dortmund:

Ab Autobahnkreuz Leverkusen auf die A 3 in Richtung Frankfurt, bis zum Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost, auf die Stadtautobahn B 55 in Richtung Köln-Zentrum, bis zur Abfahrt Kölnarena. Der Ausschilderung folgen.

Aus Richtung Olpe, Siegen

A4 bzw. Stadtautobahn B 55 in Richtung Köln-Zentrum bis zur Abfahrt Kölnarena. Der Ausschilderung folgen.

Aus Richtung Frankfurt

A 3 bis Autobahndreieck Heumar, auf A 4 in Richtung Aachen bis Autobahnkreuz Gremberg, auf die A 559 in Richtung Köln-Deutz bis zum Autobahnende.

Aus Richtung Bonn, Flughafen Köln/Bonn

A 559 in Richtung Köln-Zentrum, -Deutz bis zum Autobahnende.

Aus Richtung Aachen, Koblenz, Euskirchen

Ab Autobahnkreuz Köln-West auf die A4 in Richtung Olpe, Frankfurt bis Autobahnkreuz Gremberg, auf die A 559 in Richtung Köln-Deutz bis zum Autobahnende.

Aus Richtung Krefeld, Neuss

A 57 bis Autobahnende, dann B 55 in Richtung Zoobrücke, Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost, bis Abfahrt Kölnarena.

This modern ice rink was completed in 2000 and meets international standards (60 x 30 metres). Furthermore, the rink comprises modern ice and hall technology, has an electronic scoreboard and has a seating capacity of 500.

 A welcome cocktail will be served in the Sports Bar. Additionally the athletes and spectators will be welcomed to sample the light snacks and drinks during the competition and at the same time enjoy a great view of the ice.

The ice rink is easily reached by tram / underground: get out at the station Kölnarena and the rest is in short walking distance. The Gummersbacher Straße is directly behind the Kölnarena.

The stops Bahnhof Deutz-Messe, Köln-Deutz, Deutz-Kalker Bad are served by the underground / tram lines 1, 3, 4 and 9 as well as the busses 150, 151, 153, 170, 250 and 260. These are directly at the Kölnarena I.

The Kölnarena I is the largest event hall in Cologne and easy to identify by the huge lit arch. The Kölnarena II is situated directly behind this and is on the Gummersbacher Straße. This is the training rink for the Cologne Ice Hockey Club KEC.

From the Hotel Crowne Plaza the Arena is 4 stops away. The ice rink / Arena is easily within reach from Barbarossaplatz, Zülpicher Platz and Rudolfplatz. One Stop is right in front for the Hotel.

Due to the central location on the right bank of the river Rhine in Deutz the Kölnarena is easy to reach, just follow the road signs „Kölnarena“ and „Köln-Messe“. The Kölnarena is in immediate proximity to the Deutzer Bahnhofs. There are sufficient parking spaces clearly marked directly at the Kölnarena.

From the junction Leverkusen on the A 3 in towards Frankfurt, to the junction Köln-Ost, onto the city motorway B 55 towards Cologne Centre (Köln-Zentrum), exit at Kölnarena. Follow the signs.

From Olpe, Siegen

A4 or city motorway B 55 towards Cologne Centre (Köln-Zentrum), exit at Kölnarena. Follow the signs.

From Frankfurt

A 3 to junction Autobahndreieck Heumar, onto the A 4 towards Aachen until junction Autobahnkreuz Gremberg, onto the A 559 towards Köln-Deutz until the end of the motorway.

From Bonn, Airport Köln/Bonn

A 559 towards Köln-Zentrum, -Deutz until the end of the motorway.
